Pretty comprehensive， though painfully repetitive at times。 The author seems to forget that this is a book and not a presentation。 If the reader wants to go back and review a section they are fully capable of doing so on their own。 That being said， definitely worth the read。 Addresses in great detail countless behavioral issues kitty parents may be experiencing。

I wish it had more details on how to do specific things according to the age of the cat （kitten onwards）， otherwise I really enjoyed the read; it gave me a new way of thinking about how to build a healthy relationship with my new cat。

I picked this up to try to understand more about cats as a first time cat owner。 Very quickly， I learned my cat is the exception - well adjusted， almost no behavioral problems， and requires little guidance。 It made me thankful that I don’t have bigger problems to deal with！ That said， I did pick up some good tips and knowledge about how cats operate。 I won’t take every piece of advice （Lord Hobo loves dry food， sorry！） but overall still enlightening and entertaining。
